Dubai’s skyline has always been a playground for architectural marvels, and now, a new developer in town is aiming to add an iconic touch to the city’s landscape. Karachi-based Bahria Town, one of Asia’s biggest developers, is planning to bring a replica of the Eiffel Tower as the centerpiece of its ambitious 20-million-square-foot project in Dubai South.
This marks Bahria Town’s first-ever venture in Dubai, and it’s coming in with a bold vision. The developer has a track record of incorporating global cultural landmarks into its projects, with a notable example being the Eiffel Tower replica in its expansive Karachi township. The same approach is now set to be applied in Dubai South.
During a recent video presentation of the Bahria Town Dubai South masterplan, a broker noted that the developer is keen on establishing a distinctive identity beyond just residential offerings. The Eiffel Tower replica is expected to add a unique character to the development, complementing the lush green spaces and modern infrastructure planned for the area.
This isn’t the first time Dubai has flirted with the idea of an Eiffel Tower lookalike. Back in 2005-06, Falcon City of Wonders had announced plans to include a similar structure, but the project never materialized. Now, it’s up to Bahria Town to turn this long-standing vision into reality.
Dubai’s off-plan property sector is evolving, with developers adding more than just premium living spaces. From large water features in projects like Damac’s Riverside Views to the wellness-centric residential communities being introduced across the city, the market is embracing innovative elements to attract buyers.
Alongside the Eiffel Tower replica, Bahria Town is also planning to recreate Istanbul’s famed Blue Mosque, originally built between 1609-1617. These architectural masterpieces will serve as key landmarks within the community, offering prime views to early investors.
Market sources suggest that the first phase of off-plan sales for this mega-development will be launched in the coming weeks. The entire project is expected to unfold over the next four years, with these iconic structures serving as focal points.
With Dubai South emerging as a prime location—especially with the development of the new airport—real estate value in the area is set to rise. Developers are stepping up their game, integrating golf courses, artificial lagoons, and now, even an Eiffel Tower, to enhance the living experience.
